Level UpLife is tough and walking as a Christian is even harder (the gate is narrow)! However, we know that following Christ has the greatest reward. This year we will be looking at some Spiritual disciplines. We want to make spiritual disciplines easier to understand for children. To help them see that when we do them, it makes it easier to WALK WITH CHRIST ABOVE ALL ELSE!

MythbustersThe world is telling our children what they believe as a Christian. The world seems to be driving more myths into the Christian belief system day by day. This year, we are going to help kids look deep into these myths and BUST them once and for all. We want to help strengthen our children in everything that the Bible says and not allow them to keep following worldly myths about it.
We are going to have a blast as we help children BUST myths with God's truth. Come join us this year for MYTHBUSTERS! |
Lost In SpaceThis universe is huge! This earth is huge! This state is huge! The statements can continue. The question is: what is my place in God's huge space? Well this summer we are going to begin to discover God's plan for each of us as we move through space.
This will be an exciting theme where we really reach for the stars to help children discover their place in God's space. Come join us this year for LOST IN SPACE! |
The Big BuildGrowing in spiritual maturity is not as easy as growing physically. Helping kids understand that is hard. What is our foundation? What is our purpose? Where are we heading? At this year's kids camp, we are going to help them discover who their purpose. The Big Build, "Built for a Purpose," is a LEGO themed camp. We will be building a LEGO house (literally all week) to illustrate: that CHRIST is our foundation, LOVE is the walls and interior, SUFFERING is the roof, and we are to GO using the door. We are excited for this year's camp! Using bible studies and, of course, LEGOs, we will find out how spiritual maturity really happens and help kids find their purpose. This is very exciting for us this year. It will also be the return of Tim "the lego man" Taylor and his trusty handyman Al Borland, on their local cable show "LEGO TIME." Come join us this year for THE BIG BUILD!!!

The Mountaintop MysteryThe generation our children live in, is loaded with information, media, friends, and circumstances. Many of these begin to take over our children's identities. One of the current culprits in today's society is social media and "selfies." Did you know that the term "selfie" was added to the Merriam Webster Dictionary this year? It means, "a photograph that one takes of oneself with a digital camera or a front-facing smartphone, tablet, or webcam, especially for posting on a social-networking or photo-sharing website." Many of our children take part in our "selfie" driven culture, posting pictures online and waiting for others to rate them or decide how popular they are by how many "Likes" they get. This epidemic consumes our children's minds, attitudes, and IDENTITIES. However, many boys and girls have no idea that God offers us a new identity outside of how the world views us. This year, we want to help children see that they do have an identity in Christ. We will be learning about how God has: chosen, loved, forgiven, and redeemed us. Through this we know that we are a new person in Christ and there is a plan for us, even though we might not know what that plan is. We have an identity in Him that the world can not touch, change, or modify, no matter how hard it tries. It all comes down to whether we believe that Jesus is truly God's son, that He died for our sins, and that we are willing to accept Him as our Lord and Savior. God has set aside a plan for our children's lives, and identity found in Him, let us help your children discover what that is at the MOUNTAINTOP MYSTERY!
